Overture Results

Two product lists are now available. Overture Domains and Overture Dictionary. Overture Domains contain a list of 782,424 domain names with extension that have a positive Overture count result. Overture Dictionary contains a list of the top 95,739 dictionary words with an Overture count.

Clickmojo has been reopened to new members. Existing members will also need to signup again, under the new program. The backend has been rewritten to take advantage of new features and additional data. VIP members will be able to enjoy a significant amount of additional research now with their memberships.

Domain Browser

The Browse menu is featured first and contains some of the best unique data available anywhere. Access is provided to domain lists that are filtered based on one of four possible criteria. Domains featured here will be either; type-in, popular words, yahoo or dmoz.

The Type-in domains list can be accessed by clicking the 'Type-In' link, or the table header 'w/'. Data from this list has been compiled over a period of several years. The number you see will be either a current overture result or a historical average of similar results if a current result did not exist. This is better in that it provides you with not just currently accurate numbers, but also numbers for domains that are still valuable, but may not be reflected by the most recent overture data. You can paste the results into our Traffic Scan tool below, for an even more detailed breakdown. We can provide you with a zip file featuring a specific historical month of domain results from overture. Contact for pricing info.

The Popular domains list is similar in composition to the Type-in list as detailed above in that historical data is also used to provide a more thorough list of results. This allows you to view potentially great domain names rich with premium keywords that most expiring services omit. If you're familiar with overture results, you'll recognize some of it's weaknesses in the form of singular vs plural, and transposed words.

The Yahoo Directory lists are fairly obvious. These will be domains that were or still are listed in the Yahoo Directory. Some of these may be rich in link popularity or still receive a fair amount of traffic and should be considered worth researching further.

Below you'll see a sample screenshot of the Browse list, sorted by domain name. Many of the other lists on the site are in this format and include these or additional valuable metrics.

Hotlists

The hotlists menu contains an assortment of shorter lists of interest to our members.

• Hotlist - domains with higher than normal active bidding at backorder services.
• Alexa - domains with an alexa ranking < 100,000.
• 3 Char - domains that contain only 3 characters.
• CVCV - domains popular with the reseller market, consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel.com

Snapnames

The names in this list are based on the Snapnames partner list. The names are all pending delete status and were qualified by one or more of the internal filters. Unlike the other lists, this list will contain names dropping over the next several days.

Dictionary

These names were found to be pending delete over the next few days, and matched a single dictionary word in our dictionary database. The names in this list cover a wide variety of tld's other than .com.

Backlinks

Link popularity, or backlinks are important for determining traffic and rank for a domain or site. This list highlights a specific source or proprietary formula for weighing the link popularity of a domain.

Page Rank

Domains containing pagerank, of a 4 or higher ranking. This is generally considered to be the minimum rank required in order to pass some rank to another site. Sites of this rank or higher may also be considered an authority site. Note: Google has a habit of resetting this rank so use with caution.

Domain Leads

The domain leads data provides a glimpse into the ownership of valuable domain names ranked according to overture. Once you do a search you'll notice columns; Domain, Email, Overture, and Owns. Domain and Email are self-explanatory. Overture column contains recent or an average of fairly recent results for a domain lookup. Owns lists the number of other domains in the database, that share the admin email address or how many estimated domains owned in this data by this registrant. Domain Snoop

Domain Snoop lists are recent registrations performed by entities requested by our VIP members. This list is often published within minutes of the registry's zonefile update. This list serves as competitive intelligence to alert you to new services and opportunities within various industries, such as mainstream and media, adult industry programs, and domain speculator registrations. Instantly monitor new registrations by movie companies, web 2.0 companies, game companies, publishers, microsoft, google, sony, and many more.

Below is just a brief sample, and usually updated twice daily.

Traffic Scan

Traffic Scan allows you to fetch the source of a page, scan it for domain names, and apply a variety of highly valuable metrics against them. The program will automatically clean and extract domains from any kind of text, html, etc.. There are several ways you can input information for the program to scan.

• Enter a URL for the program to crawl, or
• Upload a list of domains from your local disk, or
• Paste into a textarea form.

List Cleaner

Nav Bar: In the navigation bar at the top of each page, are various links. One of these is the List Cleaner, which can take almost any source of data (html, text, tables, etc.) and give it's best attempt at cleaning the list for you to use in your own applications.

Rank Check

Nav Bar: You can paste a list of domains into the Rank Checker for a peek at a wide variety of valuable results like pagerank, domain age, alexa, google, msn, yahoo, alltheweb, altavista. This script is also available free to any Clickmojo VIP members. Download link is provided inside.

Unfiltered Lists

Nav Bar: These lists are unfiltered and are provided free of charge in a search-engine friendly format should you need access to raw data.
